Sizing

Our Fit Philosophy

We know what it’s like to check a size chart and still not find your body there. AQActive was created to support women who’ve felt overlooked by standard sizing—whether you carry more through the middle, the hips, the bust, or all of the above. Our designs are especially loved by women with apple-shaped bodies, but they’re made to move with you no matter your shape. Our pieces run slightly small and are intentionally compressive—so you feel held, not squished. If you’re in between sizes or postpartum, we recommend sizing up.

• This chart reflects full-length sizing—our 7/8 leggings fit the same through the waist and hips, but with a shorter inseam that sits above the ankle. Measure as usual using this chart for 7/8 styles too.

Fit Notes

  • Our waistbands are ultra-high rise and built for tummy coverage and support, not digging in.
  • The fit is designed to support the midsection while still moving with your body.
  • If your measurements fall in different sizes (e.g., waist in 2XL, hips in L)—go with the waist size first.
  • If you’re between sizes, or just want a little extra breathing room, size up. It will still hug you without squeezing.
  • Our pieces run a little small—on purpose—to create that feeling of being gently held.

A Note From Our Founder

I started AQActive because I was tired of being left out of the size charts. For most of my life, my body didn’t fit the mould—especially as someone with a tummy, smaller hips, and a shape that activewear just never seemed to understand.

Shapes we design with in mind: apples, rectangles, pears, triangles and hourglass.

This brand was built for women like me, and like you—women who move, who change, who deserve clothes that support them without judgment. Our sizing is made for real bodies, not idealised ones. If you’ve ever felt overlooked or frustrated trying to find your fit, this chart is for you.

Thank you for being here. You are exactly who we made this for.
